Tire construction code

TWI

abbreviation of “Tread Wear Indicator”, means the maximum tread wear indicator.

NHS

abbreviation of “Not For HighWay Service”, indicates that the tire is intended for specific circuits and cannot be used on public roads.

M+S

abbreviation of “Mud and Snow”, indicates that in the condition of use on roads, the motorcyclist must respect the maximum speed condition of use of the tire (consult the manufacturer).

"R" - Radial construction tire

Tires can have the same tread design and measurements, but a different maximum permissible speed rating. Always use the tire recommended by the motorcycle manufacturer.
