Several transformations and developments mark the history of Rinaldi. The company began its activities in 1969 with the production of retreading material. At the time, it had an area of 15,000 m², 60 employees and a processing capacity of 100 tons per month of manufactured products.
In 1974, it increased its production with inner tubes for the automotive, transport and industrial lines. In 1980, following the principles of constant growth, it began manufacturing tires and inner tubes for the motorcycle, agricultural, industrial (non-motorized) and cart lines.
Ten years later, with the change in shareholding control, the company began to prioritize even more investments in the qualification of its employees and production processes.
In 1999, Rinaldi won the Accreditation of its products, in the motorcycle line, by INMETRO. This achievement was also supported by the search for strengthening partnerships with raw material suppliers. Another factor was the technological investment made in the laboratory, subjecting all products to strict quality control.
In the following year, a new investment cycle began for the use of new production technologies in order to meet the demands of the national and international market, professional training of its employees, strengthening of the brand and, mainly, the Conquest of the Certification of Quality Management ISO 9001:2015.
Rinaldi currently manufactures tires and inner tubes for off-road and on-road motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, agricultural tractors (light line), buggies and non-motorized industrial.
Rinaldi operates throughout the national territory through its representatives. In the foreign market, the company trades with more than 27 countries on all continents, with international sales accounting for 8% of total sales.
Rinaldi currently occupies an industrial area of 35,000 m², where around 700 employees work in the processing of 800 tons of rubber per month. In view of the investments planned for the course of this year, it is estimated to reach a monthly production capacity of 300,000 inner tubes and 370,000 tires.
